Life’s Great Journeys – One Fig Bar at a Time

A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled upon these Nature’s Bakery  fig bars at the coffee shop on campus. I was looking for something quick for breakfast as I was running to a meeting, per usual. But they were so good, so I kept getting them each morning. They filled me up and sustained me until lunch. I randomly tweeted at Nature’s Bakery and they tweeted back (which is like the most exciting thing, when companies tweet back! p.s. follow me on twitter @gratefulyoga). We kept tweeting and they agreed to sponsor the #fitmyth Twitter Chat I moderate with Mrs. Barbelle Mondays at 4pm EST! We were over the moon! They even sent us a ton of fig bars to try!

When the package came, I was out of town and my partner, Grayson, brought the box in and didn’t think anything of it! He left to run an errand and when he came back he caught Shiloh, our dog, in the act! She had opened the cardboard box and gotten into the Blueberry Gluten Free Fig Bars! She is such a dog! Check out my periscope of me opening my Nature’s Bakery box!

We are now totally addicted and I am finding empty wrappers all over the house! I’ll let you decide if it is Grayson or Shiloh who is secretly eating all the fig bars!
